We welcome everyone that never had the experience of riding the Segway for this introduction tour of Lisbon, and we start off with a complete training so we can drive all safely and comfortably.
Going from Alfama shoreline we ride along the promenade of the Tagus river and arrive to the famous Commerce Square, one of the most iconic places of Lisbon, filled with historical sights and monuments marking the era of maritime exploration – these broad squares and sidewalks will be the perfect training for you to get fully confident on the Segways as we explore this beautiful city.
Cruising along the shoreline we can witness the bustling traffic of boats along the river, creating a lovely background for photos and videos, topping off with the iconic red bridge as we get closer to the Ferry station.

- Driver’s license is not required.
- Helmets are mandatory and different helmet sizes are available (S – XL).
- There is no minimum age limit to drive a segway – we recommend 12 years old.
- Maximum age to participate in a tour – 69 years.
- Minimum rider’s weight is 30 kg (66 lbs), maximum weight is 130 kg (290 lbs).
- Expectant mothers and people with impaired movement are not allowed to ride a Segway.
- We practice before the tour to understand if every rider has enough skills to drive in the city.
- Activity is forbidden for people under the influence of alcohol, drugs or strong medicine.
- Passport/ID details are required at the time of activity for all participants (a copy on your smartphone is also accepted).
- Tours may be operated by a multi-lingual guide.
- We operate in all weather conditions. Appropriate clothes and shoes are recommended.
- We provide raincoats in case of rain – in case of severe weather, you may postpone the tour to a convenient date for both parties.
- Please note that tours start and finish according to schedule, so we require all participants to arrive 15 minutes before to check-in and practice.
- In case of late arrival, the tour may be postponed to another available time slot.
- Please note that due to interferences in the itinerary outside of our responsibility routes may be altered with no previous notice.
No deposit is required, you can pay in our office on the day of the tour. We trust our guests and hope that you will come on time. If you change your mind, let us know at least 48 hours in advance. This way you do not deprive others of the opportunity to take advantage of the available date.
If you have prepaid your tour, you must cancel at least 48 hours prior to the start of the tour to receive a full refund. For groups of 8 or more, cancellation policies are subject to change and will always be stated in the proforma invoice.
